PANnDepth

This is a plugin/preset I created within patcher for Fl Studio.

Fl Studio lacks a true panning knob, the one in the channel rack is the only true pan all others are merge/pan which make the left or right channels mono. I didnt want to deal with this or have to create instances of stereo shaper etc in order to get some good panning so I decided to create this plugin :)

Here are some of the features built into it:

• true left and right splitting/pan
• slight volume automation when panning left or right to give the perception of distance
• slight filtering to cut some of the higher freq as you pan farther left or right
• and cutting some of the sub side information to give the panning a more realistic feeling as the sub frequencies travel farther distances

I made this to help myself but also want to put it out there to make anyone elses life easier too haha

Instructions for installation:

Download file and drag and drop it into the effect folder here:

Documents/imageline/flstudio/presets/plugindatabase/effects

If you do this it will pop up where all your effect plugins are located :)
